Job Description
My name is Riggs Powell, I own UNITS of Utah. We're a small, family-owned portable storage company serving Utah's Wasatch Front. We take pride in our work, our equipment, and the people who help us deliver exceptional service to our customers every single day. We are looking for someone to join our team that values reliability, quality workmanship, and genuine customer care. As a Full-Time Delivery Driver, you'll be the face of UNITS. You'll transport portable storage containers to and from residential and commercial locations across Utah, primarily between Ogden and North Utah County. You'll start each day at our North Salt Lake facility, where you'll drive the truck shown in our photos. But this role is much more than just driving. You'll also handle warehouse duties, cleaning, and maintenance work. This is a hands-on position where we need someone who's willing to roll up their sleeves and take care of things. What We're Looking For This job isn't for everyone. Here's what you need: ✓ Physical capability to lift over 100 lbs regularly. This is a core requirement of the job. ✓ Your own smartphone with reliable cell service and data plan that you can use for work. You'll need to download the apps we use, and your phone needs to have storage space for them. ✓ A genuine interest in cleaning and warehouse work, not just the driving. We need someone who takes pride in keeping our operation organized and clean. ✓ Forklift certification (or willingness to get certified). ✓ Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently. You'll represent us out in the field, and your professionalism matters. Bonus Skills If you're mechanically inclined and interested in equipment maintenance, that's a real asset to us. We maintain a fleet of trucks and machinery, and knowing how to handle basic upkeep and troubleshooting is incredibly valuable. Experience with flexible scheduling is also a plus. Why Work With Us?
