Job Description

Delivery Driver Flow Flowers Co. Provo, UT Job Details Part-time | Full-time | Contract $14 - $18 an hour 22 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Driver's License Mobile devices Full Job Description FLOW isn't your grandma's florist. We're building a flower subscription brand every delivery feels like it came from someone who knows you. Our drivers are the final, most human touchpoint in that experience: the face of FLOW on someone's doorstep. How you show up is how our customers experience the brand. The Role As a FLOW Delivery Driver, you're responsible for getting fresh, carefully handled flowers from our prep space into customers' hands, on time, in great condition, and with a level of care that makes people feel like they're part of something, not just a subscriber. You'll also help keep our flower handling, vehicle, and daily operations running smoothly behind the scenes. What You'll Do Delivery & Punctuality Deliver flower arrangements to customers within their scheduled delivery windows, every time Plan and follow efficient routes, adjusting in real time for traffic, weather, or last-minute changes Communicate proactively if a delivery is going to be delayed, rather than letting the customer find out the hard way Customer Experience At every delivery, ask the customer: "Is there anything else we can grab for you today?" Make a genuine effort to fulfill reasonable requests before wrapping up the interaction, this is part of what makes FLOW feel different, not just a scripted line Flower Handling & Care Handle every arrangement using proper flower-care best practices: keeping stems hydrated, maintaining appropriate temperature during transport, and preventing crushing, bending, or sun damage Secure arrangements properly in the vehicle so they arrive looking as good as when they left Recognize and report any flowers that show signs of stress, wilting, or damage before they go out for delivery Loading, Unloading & Prep Unload incoming flower shipments and assist with prepping stems for arrangement (trimming, hydrating, staging) as needed Load the delivery vehicle in a way that protects arrangements and keeps deliveries organized by route order Keep the prep and loading areas clean and organized to avoid damaging product Vehicle Care Keep the delivery vehicle clean, inside and out, on a regular basis Perform basic pre-drive checks (fuel/charge, tire condition, mirrors, cleanliness) before each shift Report any mechanical issues immediately rather than pushing through them Safety Follow all traffic laws and drive defensively at all times, no exceptions for being behind schedule Never compromise safe driving to hit a delivery window Systems & Organization Follow FLOW's delivery and route-management tools/software for every shift, logging deliveries, notes, and any issues as they happen Keep accurate records of completed deliveries, delays, or delivery exceptions (no answer at the door, gate codes, etc.) Feedback & Communication Provide regular, honest feedback to the Operations Manager on routes, vehicle condition, flower quality, prep process, or anything slowing deliveries down Flag recurring customer issues or delivery obstacles (bad addresses, access problems, etc.) so they can be fixed at the source Represent FLOW warmly and professionally in any face-to-face customer interaction Training Attend and actively participate in all required trainings, including flower handling, safe driving, and customer interaction standards Stay current on any updates to FLOW's delivery processes, tools, or quality standards What You'll Need Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Reliable, professional demeanor — you show up when you say you will Comfortable lifting and carrying arrangements (up to ~25-30 lbs) repeatedly during a shift Strong attention to detail, especially under time pressure Ability to work some weekends and around key gifting holidays (Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, etc.), which are our busiest and most important days Smartphone comfort for using route/delivery tracking tools Previous delivery, driving, or customer-facing experience preferred but not required
Pay:
$14.00 - $18.00 per hour People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
