We're currently seeking a Full-Time Community Pharmacy Associate / Delivery Driver to join our growing team. What Makes This Position Different? This is much more than a cashier or retail position. As a Community Pharmacy Associate , you'll become an important part of the daily operation of our independently owned community pharmacy. Every day brings something new—from helping customers find the products they need, to assisting patients with prescription refills, stocking merchandise, processing orders, and making local deliveries to patients who depend on us. You'll build relationships with patients, work closely with our pharmacy team, and play an important role in helping people receive the care and service they deserve. Your work will directly improve the lives of the people in our community. Responsibilities You'll have the opportunity to:
- Welcome every customer with a friendly smile and provide outstanding customer service.
- Process sales accurately using our point-of-sale system.
- Assist customers with over-the-counter products and answer general questions.
- Help patients request prescription refills and retrieve completed prescriptions after training.
- Receive inventory and stock shelves.
- Rotate merchandise and check product expiration dates.
- Assist with ordering products and special customer requests.
- Keep the store clean, organized, and inviting.
- Work as part of a team to provide an exceptional pharmacy experience.
- Deliver prescriptions and pharmacy products safely and professionally throughout our local community.
We provide:
- Your regular hourly wage while making deliveries.
- Mileage reimbursement at the current IRS reimbursement rate.
Applicants must have:
- A valid Virginia driver's license.
- A dependable personal vehicle.
- Current automobile insurance.
