) Duties Safely operate a box truck or van to deliver goods to commercial locations within designated routes Load and unload items using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment while adhering to safe lifting practices Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately, on time, and in accordance with traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Maintain communication with our office via mobile devices to confirm delivery schedules and report any issues or delays Assist with warehouse operations by organizing inventory, preparing shipments, and managing material handling equipment when needed Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring proper weight distribution and secure transportation of goods Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client questions professionally and ensuring a positive delivery experience Requirements Prior delivery driver experience preferred, especially with courier or commercial driving roles involving box trucks or delivery vans Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial truck driving is a plus Familiarity with warehouse operations, including moving heavy items and using material handling equipment such as pallet jacks Knowledge of traffic laws, DOT regulations, and safe lifting practices for heavy loads Comfortable using mobile devices for route navigation and communication purposes Strong physical stamina for manual lifting, moving items, and performing repetitive tasks throughout the day Ability to adhere strictly to safety standards related to weight handling in the workplace and load & unload procedures Join us as a Local Delivery Driver where your drive makes a difference!
