Join our dynamic team as a Delivery Driver, where you will be the friendly face delivering packages efficiently and safely to our valued customers. Duties Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks and personal vehicles, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Load and unload packages using manual handling techniques or material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary. Plan efficient routes for timely deliveries, utilizing mobile devices and route-driving software to optimize travel paths. Deliver packages directly to customers' locations, providing excellent customer service by maintaining a professional attitude and clear communication. Handle heavy lifting with proper safety practices, ensuring safe weight handling in the workplace during loading, unloading, and moving operations. Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and digital records of each shipment using mobile devices or handheld scanners. Assist with warehouse operations when needed, including inventory management and moving goods within the facility using appropriate equipment. Qualifications Proven delivery driver experience with a strong understanding of route driving and customer service principles. Warehouse experience is highly desirable, including manual handling, moving goods, and operating material handling equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred but not required depending on vehicle type. Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles safely; familiarity with box trucks or courier vehicles is a plus. Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe lifting practices to handle heavy loads responsibly. Comfortable working with mobile devices for route navigation and delivery documentation. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting tasks consistently while adhering to safety standards. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in load & unload procedures and delivery documentation.
