Duties Safely operate box trucks and commercial vehicles with manual transmissions to complete daily delivery routes. Load and unload goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling and safety. Deliver packages to customers' locations promptly while providing excellent customer service through friendly communication. Verify delivery details, obtain signatures when required, and maintain accurate delivery documentation. Navigate route driving efficiently using GPS or route plans to optimize delivery schedules. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are met. Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management, moving stock, and organizing shipments as needed. Experience Previous delivery driver experience preferred, especially with box trucks or similar commercial vehicles. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment is a plus. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driver's license (CDL) or driver certification is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks regularly throughout the shift. Familiarity with route planning, load & unload procedures, and safety protocols for moving goods efficiently.
