CDL A Driver - Part Time

Job Description:

Safely mobilize heavy equipment and supplies to jobsite, drive water trucks & dumps within construction zone.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Safely operate CDL-A equipment in accord with DOT rules and Regulations. Load, secure and transport various equipment to jobsites safely and within DOT rules. Ability to operate forklifts, aerial lifts, trucks, and other company equipment (willing to train). Pre and post trip inspections. Foloow reporting protocols. Follow all company Operational Procedures and QC Standards. Perform any other duties as assigned by the operations manager and superintendent. CDL delivery and driving work as needed.

Job Requirements:

Must have: Must be able to pass background and drug test. Valid driver's license & clean driving record required. Commercial driver's license (CDL). Must be qualified forklift operator or willing to learn. Must be able to perform the physical duties of the job (lifting of 50 pounds frequently). Must be able to communicate in English (verbal and written). Willing and able to work in inclement weather. Overall positive attitude.

Nice to have:

Previous experience with heavy equipment transport and operation. Experience in construction settings. Familiarity with common types of building materials and tools.
