Base pay starts at $31.00

Day Shift, Full Time

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Driver will be expected to transport, deliver, and/or unload windows and patio door products to customers in a safe and timely manner to our dealers, distribution centers, and/or construction job sites using a tractor-trailer. This position requires a wide range of skills from practicing safe driving and delivery to top-notch customer service. This position in overnight 2-3 times a week.

Read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with general public, understand highway traffic signs/signals, respond to inquiries and to make entries on reports/records per DOT Reg 391.11Complete all assigned delivery routes. Driver will deliver to local construction jobsites and is responsible for manually offloading productAddress customer questions, issues and concerns in a professional and timely fashionRepresent the company in a professional manner at all times in both actions and personal appearanceAdhere to Cascade policies and proceduresComplete all delivery and return documentation accurately and legiblyMaintain driver logs and inspectionsMaintain equipment in a neat, clean and organized conditionUphold all safety practices according to safety handbook and DOT regulationsLoad and unload trucks and assist others with loading and unloadingDo 5 to 12 stops in Central Washington marketWill spend 50% time loading/unloading and 50% of the time drivingWill spend one to two nights out on the roadQualificationsValid CDL A driver's license with a clean driving recordMust be DOT compliant2 years of previous tractor-trailer driving experience including winter driving experience (equivalent Military DD214 experience is acceptable)Ability to read, write and perform simple mathematical calculations with general mental ability to handle receipts, read maps, read road signs, maintain logs, etc.
