Job Description

We are looking for an experienced truck driver to serve our company in a safe and timely manner of delivery of new fire trucks to various locations across the United States. Essential Job Functions Transporting new fire trucks from Seagrave's Clintonville location to Seagrave Service Centers, Seagrave Dealerships, and direct customer locations. Inspect fire apparatus to ensure DOT regulations. Plan routes and meet delivery schedules with the guidance of our sales team Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures Collect and verify delivery instructions Report defects, accidents, or violations Requirements Must have valid Class A CDL and Fed Med. Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations. Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc.) Good planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work. Fire service experience is a plus but not necessarily Tractor trailer over the road experience a plus but not required
