May also take orders, collect payment, or stock merchandise at point of delivery. Includes newspaper delivery drivers. Excludes gig economy drivers.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Retrieve daily local routes and driver tickets via onboard computer systems to plan and execute deliveries efficiently.
- Operate a Bobtail and/or cylinder truck safely on local routes to deliver liquid propane (LP) to residential, commercial, and agricultural customer tanks.
- Ensure accurate and complete delivery documentation, including member signatures and delivery tickets.
- Maintain the cleanliness and proper functioning of delivery vehicles, conducting routine inspections and reporting any maintenance needs.
- Foster strong relationships with members by providing courteous, professional service and addressing any questions or concerns.
- Prioritize safety at all times by adhering to all safety protocols, traffic laws, and company policies.
- Participate in on-call rotations for after-hours and weekend emergency deliveries as required, ensuring continuous service availability.
- Follow all environmental and safety regulations related to the handling and transportation of propane.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for operating a Bobtail truck.
- Proven experience in delivery driving, preferably in propane, fuel, or similar industries.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to the handling and transportation of hazardous materials.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to operate onboard computer systems and read delivery tickets accurately.
- Good physical condition, capable of lifting and handling propane tanks and related equipment.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certifications related to hazardous materials handling is a plus.
