A Sales Delivery Driver drives a truck or other vehicle over established routes or within an established territory and sells or delivers goods, such as food products, including restaurant take-out items, or pick up or deliver items such as commercial laundry. May also take orders, collect payment, or stock merchandise at point of delivery. Includes newspaper delivery drivers. Excludes gig economy drivers.

Job Description
DUTIES:
- Assist with loading and unloading furniture and bedding onto the delivery truck. (We work in teams of two.)
- Efficiently plan and navigate delivery routes and follow instructions from the store
- Deliver items safely into our customers' homes in a timely and professional manner
- Use equipment such as hand and power tools, forklifts, blankets and straps to assemble and transport goods
- Communicate effectively with customers and the store to address any questions or concerns they may have about their deliveries
EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is helpful but not required
- Familiarity with route driving and commercial driving regulations is a plus (CDL not required)
- Experience operating a medium duty box truck

REQUIREMENTS
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and 5 years automotive driving experience. Our insurance company also prefers prior box truck experience.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks
- Excellent time management skills
