Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dependable Delivery Driver and Material Handler to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the vital link between our company and our customers, ensuring timely deliveries while handling materials efficiently within our warehouse. Your enthusiasm, attention to detail, and commitment to excellent customer service will drive success in this fast-paced position. You'll take pride in safely transporting goods, managing inventory, and supporting overall operations with a positive attitude. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your driving skills and gain hands-on experience in logistics and warehouse management. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial vehicles such as box trucks and other delivery vans to transport goods to various locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Load and unload materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques, ensuring items are secured properly for transit. Deliver products directly to customers' locations with professionalism, providing excellent customer service throughout each interaction. Manage route driving efficiently by planning optimal delivery paths to maximize productivity and punctuality. Assist with warehouse tasks including inventory management, organizing stock, and preparing shipments for delivery or receipt. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety standards are met; report any maintenance issues promptly. Support team members with heavy lifting, moving supplies within the warehouse, or assisting with other logistical needs as required. Requirements Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with box trucks or similar commercial vehicles. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving manual transmission vehicles is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks involving moving large or bulky items safely. Warehouse experience including familiarity with forklifts, pallet jacks, and inventory handling is highly desirable. Knowledge of route planning and route driving best practices for efficiency. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Join us in delivering excellence! Pay:
$21.00 - $24.00 per hour
