ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for a personable and reliable team member to join the La Terre team. This person is a friendly, professional face for our customers by delivering flowers to their door. Punctuality, attention to detail, and customer service are at the heart of this position. La Terre serves many recurring subscription clients and offers a high-touch experience. You will use the company vehicle to take deliveries, which will put you in the public eye, representing the La Terre brand. Our goal is always to make people feel safe and taken care of, and this role helps bring that promise to life! Deliveries will be the main part of your role (~9-12 hours/week). When you are not on the road, you'll be in the shop, cross-trained to understand how each role works. You'll spend time helping customers find the perfect gift, wrapping hand-tied bouquets, and helping process flowers. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys the independence of being out on deliveries and the energy of a busy shop floor.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Delivery (your primary focus, ~9-12 hours/week) Arrive on time to customer homes and businesses, driving with care and attention. Load arrangements so they travel securely. Use discretion with parking and presence around clients and their homes. Ensure arrangements are delivered safely and in excellent condition. Immediately report any delivery issues, accidents, or concerns while out in the field. Provide a warm, professional experience for each customer you meet. Keep the company vehicle clean, organized, and presentable. Support the shop in preparing deliveries, as needed. Retail Sales & Customer Experience Offer warm, attentive service and help guide customers through their purchases Build relationships with customers and ensure they feel comfortable Stay aware of what's on the floor so you can speak to our products with confidence Answer phones and process orders, supporting the online order flow so designers are set up for success Order Fulfillment & Shop Support Help prepare flower orders for delivery and pickup, coordinating with the design team Assist with receiving, unpacking, and merchandising new products Help keep the shop clean, stocked, and welcoming throughout the day Float to help with production tasks (washing buckets & vases, sweeping, removing trash/recycling, and compost) Support opening and/or closing procedures as needed
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Final employment eligibility is dependent on being approved and added to La Terre's auto insurance policy. Must be at least 21 years old Must hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and have the ability to pass a license check. 1-2 years of customer-facing experience in retail, hospitality, service, or delivery preferred. Familiar with (or quick to learn) online platforms.
