Saturday FedEx Delivery Driver

Pride Valley Transport is a contracted service provider to FedEx Ground. Providing pickup and delivery services within FedEx Ground network. Pride Valley is a small, family oriented, locally owned company. This is Saturday positions only. Position is from 8-12 hours. Average being 9 hours. Some week days may become available as Fulltime employees take vacations. PVT gives Employees the tools, training and encouragement to be successful. With on the job training, no delivery or commercial driving experience is required. Training utilizing industry leading technology provides ease of learning and daily use. This training does require 3 days of consecutive training to start and then can move to part time. Company supplied uniforms starts your success with a professional look. Paid vacation will bring forth those much-needed breaks.

Job Requirements:

• 21 Years of age
• Driver's License for 3 years
• Must submit criminal background check
• Must be able to pass D.O.T physical standards (MEC)
• Must be able to pass Motor Vehicle Report standards (MVR)
• Must be able to pass pre employment drug screening then subject to random drug screens Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Complete and Pass required training(3 days of training)
• Delivery and pick up packages provided by FedEx Ground network.
• Planning of routes and loading truck.
• Ability to work without direct supervision.
• Drive a delivery vehicle ranging from a Ford Transit to a P1200 step-van.
• Ability to follow FMCSA guidelines.
• Provide Reliable, Respectful and Safe service to customers.
• Cleanly appearance for customers.
• Wear provided uniform while on duty
• Ability to lift 75lbs unassisted and 150lbs with use of utility dolly.
• Ability to communicate with customers clearly and respectfully.

Summary As a Saturday FedEx Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting packages to various locations while ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires a valid driver's license and a strong ability to handle heavy lifting. Your core skills in driving and delivery will be complemented by premium skills in customer service and commercial driving.
