Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Local Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be the face of our company, delivering goods efficiently and safely to customers within your local area. Duties Deliver packages directly to customers' locations with professionalism, ensuring accurate order fulfillment and excellent customer service. Handle heavy lifting tasks with proper technique to prevent injury and maintain safety standards during warehouse operations and material handling. Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and documentation for each shipment in compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, delays, or issues encountered during route driving. Qualifications Prior experience in delivery driving or warehouse operations is highly preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial truck driving or box trucks is a plus. Demonstrated ability to operate manual transmission vehicles safely and efficiently. Familiarity with warehouse activities such as moving inventory, operating material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks), and adhering to safety protocols. Strong understanding of traffic laws, DOT regulations, weight handling in the workplace, and safe lifting practices. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude. Ability to lift heavy items repeatedly while maintaining proper manual handling techniques. Comfortable using mobile devices for route navigation and communication during deliveries.
