We are looking for a delivery driver to support our team and serve our customers with a positive, friendly mindset. The Delivery Driver is responsible for transporting packages and other goods from our facilities to business addresses in our region. Their duties include loading goods, using navigation tools to arrive at the right address and delivering parcels to the correct address. He or she provides exceptional service to our customers by delivering products with a friendly, helpful attitude. The ideal candidate has a pleasant and courteous personality, is fluent in English, and can provide excellent service at all times.
COMPENSATION
$16 - $17 / hour 30 to 35 hours per week
DELIVERY DRIVER RESPONSIBILITIES
Interacts with customers during deliveries Coordinates questions and issues with the appropriate department personnel Following the best practices for safety, both on the road and while loading or unloading a truck Communicating with dispatchers, drivers and other team members to make deliveries Meeting delivery deadlines Loading and unloading cargo Tracking shipments and deliveries Obtaining client or customer signatures when needed Meets or exceeds all service target Attends all staff meetings, training, and educational classes as required Performs other duties as assigned
DELIVERY DRIVER QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED required; some post high school education or training preferred Must have a valid driver's license Pleasant/friendly demeanor and an outgoing personality Highly professional and dependable Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
