Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Delivery Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, experience in warehouse operations, and a proven track record in commercial driving and delivery. As a DME Delivery Technician, you will be responsible for safely delivering and setting up medical equipment, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining accurate delivery documentation. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference by providing essential medical supplies to those in need with professionalism and care. Duties Safely operate Cargo Vans to deliver durable medical equipment to clients' homes or healthcare facilities. Load and unload medical equipment using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques, ensuring proper safety protocols are followed. Provide excellent customer service by assisting clients with the setup, operation, and understanding of their medical equipment. Follow designated route driving schedules efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance and safety. Maintain accurate delivery records, obtain signatures, and document any issues or discrepancies during delivery. Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate inventory management and ensure timely stock replenishment. Assist with warehouse organization, including cleaning and maintaining proper use of equipment, moving heavy items and operating equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks when necessary. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients. Physical ability to lift heavy items regularly and perform manual handling tasks safely. Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and adapt to changing schedules. Prior experience with medical equipment delivery is advantageous but not required; training will be provided.
