Meal Delivery Driver (Part-Time) Converse County Aging Services - Douglas, Wyoming Looking for a job where you can make a real difference every single day? Join Converse County Aging Services as a Meal Delivery Driver and help bring nutritious meals, friendly faces, and meaningful connections to older adults in our community. This is more than a driving job—it's a chance to support senior care, community health, and independent living while being part of a supportive, mission-driven team. Position Overview Under the supervision of the Kitchen Coordinator, the Meal Delivery Driver is responsible for preparing delivery routes, picking up meals, and delivering home-delivered meals to seniors throughout Converse County. This role ensures meals are delivered safely, on time, and with care—supporting aging in place and community-based services . You'll also play an important role in wellness checks, teamwork, and supporting daily operations at the senior center. What You'll Do Deliver with Purpose Deliver meals daily to clients throughout Converse County using assigned routes Ensure meals are transported in temperature-controlled containers for food safety compliance Provide friendly, respectful interaction with seniors during deliveries Support Senior Wellness Observe and report any changes in client behavior, health, or living conditions Communicate concerns to Site Manager or Case Manager as part of ongoing client care Drive Safely & Professionally Operate vehicles safely in all weather and road conditions Maintain a clean driving record and follow all agency driving policies Demonstrate knowledge of Douglas and surrounding rural communities Stay Organized & Efficient Print and manage daily meal delivery lists and routes Complete one monthly test meal and maintain documentation Follow food safety, handling, and delivery procedures Teamwork & Center Support Assist with small maintenance or handyman tasks after delivery routes as needed Work collaboratively with staff, volunteers, and community partners Support a positive, respectful environment for seniors and team members Volunteer & Program Support Help guide and support volunteers as assigned Attend staff meetings, trainings, and required program updates Follow all agency, state, and federal confidentiality and privacy regulations Stay Flexible Take on additional duties as needed to support the program and participants Required Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently Strong communication and customer service skills Dependable, punctual, and compassionate Ability to follow directions and maintain confidentiality Preferred Qualifications Experience in meal delivery, transportation, senior services, or healthcare support roles Familiarity with rural routes or local community knowledge Basic maintenance or handyman skills Experience working with older adults or in community-based services Physical Requirements Frequently lift and carry 10-30 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs Walk, stand, and move frequently throughout the shift Sit and drive for extended periods (2-6+ hours per shift) Enter and exit vehicle multiple times per route Bend, stoop, kneel, and reach while loading/unloading meals Work outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, wind, snow, ice) Navigate stairs, ramps, and uneven surfaces Maintain physical stamina for an active, on-the-go role Why Join Us?
