CHIEF ENGINEER
- Port Canaveral Chief Engineer Unlimited Diesel.
Flexible:
Part or Full time .Shift pay 8-hour shift. Unlimited Chief Only.
Duties:
Responsible for all operations and maintenance of equipment throughout the entire ship. Responsible for engine room and maintenance. Determines fuel, lube oil, and other consumables required for a voyage. Compiles an inventory for spare parts, oversees fuel, lube, and slop oil transfers, all major maintenance. Prepares the engine room for inspection by local marine/safety authorities (e.g. U.S. Coast Guard). In charge of the engine room during emergency situations.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent USCG License as a Chief Engineer of Motor Vessel of an unlimited HP Submit to and pass alcohol and drug tests including but not limited to pre-employment, random, and post-accident testing An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted Ability to maneuver areas within the vessel including engine room spaces and crew areas Good verbal and written communication with others continuously Process calculations continuously Minimum 18 years of age. Successfully complete drug test. Victory Casino Cruises has a No Visible Tattoo Policy. For this position you must be cleared of all hand, face & neck tattoos. You will be required to obtain a TWIC and MMC. Acceptable documents to obtain badging are Passport OR Government issued photo ID and certified copy of Birth Certificate. Supporting documents would be needed for a name change.
