Full Job Description Benefits:
401(k) Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance At TowBoatU.S. Ft. Lauderdale, we look for experienced Captains capable of leading operations aboard our 96' Offshore Supply Vessel. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires strong vessel handling skills, proven crew management experience, and the ability to safely execute a wide range of marine operations. The ideal candidate will have experience operating similar commercial vessels in offshore and nearshore environments, along with solid mechanical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot and assist with vessel systems when needed. A proven track record of professionalism, decision-making, and crew leadership is essential. Our 96' OSV, the Richard L. Becker , supports a variety of operations including long-distance towing, offshore charter projects, cargo and personnel transport, salvage support, equipment deployment, and specialized marine operations throughout the U.S. East Coast and Bahamas.
Required Qualifications:
100 Ton Near Coastal Master License with Towing Endorsement STCW Certification Radar Endorsement FCC Radio Operator License Valid TWIC Card Valid Passport Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
Random Drug Testing Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with offshore towing operations Crane, A-Frame, lifting, and rigging experience Dive certification Mechanical and troubleshooting abilities Experience working in dynamic offshore environments This position is best suited for a motivated maritime professional who takes pride in safety, teamwork, vessel care, and delivering high-quality service in demanding conditions.
