License Crew management Delegation Mechanical knowledge Full Job Description Overview Join our dynamic team as a Boat Captain and lead the safe, efficient operation of our Tiki's. This role is perfect for motivated individuals with a passion for maritime navigation, management, and safety. As a Tiki Captain, you will oversee all aspects of boat operation, ensuring compliance with safety regulations while delivering exceptional service to passengers or clients. Your leadership and mechanical expertise will drive smooth voyages and memorable experiences on the water. Responsibilities Safely operate and navigate Tiki's according to maritime laws and company policies Manage crew members, assigning tasks and overseeing daily operations to ensure efficiency and safety Conduct pre-departure inspections, including rigging checks and mechanical assessments Maintain detailed logs of voyages, safety checks, and maintenance activities Communicate effectively with crew, passengers, and emergency responders as needed during operations Ensure all safety equipment is functional and compliant with regulatory standards Requirements Proven experience in maritime navigation. Strong mechanical knowledge of boat engines. Ability to lead a team under pressure while maintaining a focus on safety and service quality Knowledge of maritime laws, safety regulations, and environmental standards Excellent communication skills for coordinating with crew and external agencies Valid "6-Pack" boating license required.
