We are looking for a Licensed USCG Master Captain to operate commercial touring charters. This individual must be safety-oriented, a self-starter, extremely organized, disciplined, and punctual. Time management is a must. They need to be familiar with the waterways of Savannah and able to navigate safely. They need to be able to launch and trailer a boat. They also must have knowledge of commercial charter operations as it pertains to USCG regulations, inspections, and requirements. We want to provide an exciting and inviting environment for our charter guests. Our guests are generally people celebrating bachelorette/bachelor parties, birthdays, and other special occasions. To help them celebrate, our crew must have service that goes above and beyond. You must be energetic and engaging. No salty captains here. We are looking for people who know how to communicate with customers while making them feel comfortable and safe while also keeping everyone and all situations under control. You never know what's going to happen on the water so our crew must be able to think quickly to remedy any situation and be able to work in any high stress situations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Pre-Charter Prep:

Fueling the boat Icing coolers Inventory of supplies Safety equipment check Arranging the boat so that it's ready to receive guests Maintaining a CLEAN vessel During charter: Greeting guests and escorting them to the boat Keeping an eye on the guests and waterways to maintain safety Create an exciting and fun atmosphere Provide the best customer service available Ability to anchor and beach boat safely Post charter: Clean the boat thoroughly Do a systems check to ensure everything is ready for the next charter Inventory of supplies Store boat properly and put on all covers Participate in quarterly training drills such as MOB, fire, and equipment failure Requirements /

Licenses:

Minimum:

USCG 25 Ton Master Captain's License Upon Inland Waters FCC Marine Radio Operator Permit First Aid / CPR Certification Medical Certificate Must be enrolled in a USCG approved drug consortium Live in or near Savannah, GA Have direct customer service experience If you think of yourself as a people person, have the appropriate qualifications, and love being on the water we want to hear from you.

Schedule:

We operate 7 days a week, only during daylight hours. We do the majority of our charters on Friday, Saturday and Sundays. Availability during the weekends is a must. This position will start as part-time with a possibility of becoming full-time. Schedules are flexible based on availability.
