$34/hour Jo b Summary Action Group Staffing is seeking an experienced Pressure Vessel Weld Shop Supervisor to lead a rectangular box header manufacturing team in Wagoner, OK. This role combines hands-on welding with leadership responsibilities, overseeing daily fabrication and welding operations while ensuring all work meets ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code (BPVC) Section VIII and Section IX standards. The ideal candidate will lead a team of code welders, maintain high-quality production standards, and drive safety and efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Job Requirements Extensive experience in pressure vessel or code welding environments required Strong knowledge of
ASME BPVC
Section VIII and Section IX Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a weld shop or fabrication setting Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding processes Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings Experience with weld procedures (WPS), procedure qualification records (PQR), and welder qualifications Strong understanding of fabrication processes, fit-up, and distortion control Commitment to safety, quality, and production efficiency Ability to lift, work in various positions, and perform hands-on welding as needed Must pass a drug screen and background check Responsibilities Supervise and lead daily operations of the weld shop, ensuring production goals are met Perform hands-on welding and assist with complex fabrication tasks as needed Ensure all welding and fabrication activities comply with

Section VIII and IX requirements Train, mentor, and oversee a team of welders to ensure high-quality workmanship Review blueprints, specifications, and welding procedures to ensure proper execution Monitor weld quality, conduct inspections, and coordinate with QA/QC as needed Maintain and enforce safety standards, OSHA regulations, and company policies Coordinate workflow, materials, and manpower to optimize productivity Troubleshoot fabrication and welding issues to minimize downtime Maintain accurate production and quality documentation #INDT
