Boat Captain

We are hiring weekend boat captains. If you love working on the lake, being around fun and beautiful people and having a good time this is the job for you. We are looking for hard workers with a positive attitude and work in a team environment. We are looking for individuals with a Merchant Mariners Credential or a Texas Party Boat License and experience on Lake Travis and Lake Austin. If you don't have boating experience as a Captain in a commercial environment this isn't the job for you. You must live within 45 miles of Austin and be able to commute to Lake Austin and Lake Travis to apply for this position. You also must have a tow truck able to tow 3500 pounds.

Compensation:

Base pay $25/hr + tips (each 2-4 hour rental makes an $100-$300 in tips). If you do not meet the requirements and answer all screening questions your application will not be considered.

Requirements:

Must have completed or be willing to complete a Texas Parks & Wildlife boat safety course if you were born after September 1st 1993. If you have a Merchant Mariners Credential or Texas Party Boat license, even better! You must have a reliable truck that is able to tow at least 3500 lbs in order to apply for this position. Part of this job entails that you take photos of our customers on a company provided camera. Must be willing to work weekends and most holidays. Must have a clean criminal record. Position requires bending, sitting, and lifting up to 20 lbs and being able to swim in an emergency.
