Captain

Water2Wine Cruises in Richland, WA is seeking a Captain to join our team. Our ideal candidate is professional, attentive, motivated, and reliable. As Captain, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our vessels, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. You will oversee crew operations, passenger safety, and vessel security, while upholding the Hoffman Standard of excellence. Key Responsibilities Ensure the safety of passengers and crew aboard 70'-90' steel cruising yachts. Oversee vessel operations in compliance with USCG regulations and maintain required records and training. Lead and support crew training, teamwork, and efficiency. Monitor navigational charts, instruments, weather, and river conditions , taking corrective action when needed. Perform and assist with vessel maintenance on the West Star and Chrysalis . Maintain vessel readiness, cleanliness, and security for daily operations and guest tours. Support the Port Captain and the Management team with communication, reporting, and incident response. Conduct routine inspections, safety drills, and emergency preparedness exercises. Assist with fueling, waste management, and water tank handling as needed. Report repairs or maintenance needs and coordinate with management for resolutions. Promote Water2Wine Cruises' mission by fostering teamwork, professionalism, and guest satisfaction. Qualifications

USCG 100

Ton Masters License (Required) Experience operating twin-prop or larger vessels (preferred). Mechanical/technical knowledge a plus; training available on boat systems. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Flexible availability to serve as a relief/part-time/full-time Captain to support scheduled cruises and assist with operations as needed.
