- Job Overview
- We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Box Truck Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting and delivering goods safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and loading/unloading tasks.
- Responsibilities
- Operate and drive trucks to transport goods between locations.
- Load, deliver and transport from warehouse to customer locations
- Ensure the safe and secure transportation of products, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each route driven.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any and all inquiries or concerns professionally.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure timely loading and unloading of goods.
- Assist in moving products within the warehouse as needed.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Box Truck Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Experience with route driving, including knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks(certification may be required).
- Physical capability to perform heavy lifting tasks (up to 50 pounds) as part of loading/unloading and installation duties.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining delivery logs and schedules.
