Shop Location:
Athens, AL Essential Job Functions:
Aid the Fuel Truck Driver in loading, unloading, and dispensing fuel at designated locations. Ensure accurate measurement and delivery of fuel according to requirements. Assist in verifying the type and quantity of fuel before dispensing. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including proper handling and storage of fuel. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the fuel truck to ensure it is in safe working condition. Work closely with the Fuel Truck Driver to ensure efficient and coordinated fuel delivery operations. Maintain a high level of quality work at all times Maintain good relationships with Technicians, Foreman, Superintendents, Inspectors, Developers, and other co-workers at all times Aid Coworkers to ensure that the site is clean and organized at the end of each shift. Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work tasks Perform other duties as assigned Represent and promote Grayson Carter and Son in a professional and honest manner
Job Qualifications/Requirements:
Knowledge of DOT Rules and Regulations Ability to communicate and convey information effectively Must be physically able to stand, walk, sit, crouch, kneel, climb, and periodically lift 75 pounds Knowledge of OSHA Standards Ability to obtain Arsenal Badge and FBI Badge preferred, but not required Dependable transportation Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) on all job sites as required Work weekends and overtime as needed Committed to attending work each day Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen Grayson Carter and Son Contracting, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
