Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver to join our transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers across various routes, including over-the-road (OTR) driving, to deliver freight efficiently and reliably. Your expertise in handling refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and hazardous materials will ensure that goods are transported in compliance with all safety regulations. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers, across designated routes while adhering to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Plan routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries and optimize fuel efficiency Load and unload freight manually or with equipment, ensuring cargo is secured properly for transport Transport hazardous materials and dangerous goods following hazardous materials regulations and safety protocols Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle inspections in compliance with FMCSA regulations Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips, reporting any maintenance issues promptly Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or delays Ensure all cargo handling complies with logistics cargo handling standards and safety procedures Qualifications Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record and proven experience in commercial truck driving Experience operating refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or tractor-trailers preferred Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT rules, hazardous materials regulations, and dangerous goods handling Ability to drive manual transmission trucks confidently and handle manual loading/unloading processes Familiarity with GPS navigation systems for route planning and real-time adjustments Strong understanding of over-the-road (OTR) driving routes and delivery driving procedures Excellent manual handling skills for freight loading/unloading tasks Prior experience with automobile transportation or freight delivery is advantageous Join us as a CDL A Truck Driver and become an essential part of our logistics network! $4,800.00 - $14,400.00 per month
