Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and experienced Tri-Axle Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will operate heavy-duty tri-axle dump trucks to transport materials across construction sites, ensuring timely deliveries and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise in construction machinery operation and maintenance will be vital in supporting various excavation, grading, and utility installation projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale construction initiatives while maintaining a strong focus on safety and efficiency. Duties Safely operate tri-axle dump trucks to haul dirt, gravel, asphalt, and other construction materials across job sites Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of trucks and related equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance Follow all federal construction safety regulations, equipment safety procedures, and site-specific safety protocols Assist with construction utility work such as utility locating, site grading, and excavation support using loaders, excavators, or water trucks as needed Coordinate with project managers and site supervisors to ensure timely delivery of materials and proper load securing Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, inspections, and maintenance activities for compliance purposes Support heavy equipment operation including loader operation, excavator use, and other machinery essential for construction tasks Experience Proven experience as a commercial truck driver with a focus on heavy-duty vehicles such as tri-axle dump trucks Strong knowledge of construction machinery maintenance and operation, including loaders, excavators, and water trucks Familiarity with federal construction safety regulations and equipment safety procedures Hands-on experience with construction utility work like utility locating and site grading Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment troubleshooting and basic repairs Prior work on construction sites involving excavation, utility installation, or grading projects Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record; experience with Caterpillar equipment is a plus Join us in delivering essential infrastructure projects with precision, safety, and enthusiasm!
