Non CDL Driving Position

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual for a Non CDL Driving Position. This role involves operating flatbed trucks and other delivery vehicles to transport steel products to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on customer service, ensuring that deliveries are made on time and in excellent condition. This position requires physical stamina for heavy lifting and moving, as well as a focus on safety. Responsibilities Operate trucks and other vehicles for deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage Navigate delivery routes efficiently to meet customer timelines Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns professionally Load vehicle to prepare for delivery routes and help with warehouse work as needed. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including documentation of any issues encountered Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation Assist in warehouse tasks as needed, including inventory management and organization Skills Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction Previous warehouse experience is preferred Experience in commercial driving, particularly with box trucks or similar vehicles Familiarity with delivery driver responsibilities and route driving techniques Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks regularly Proficiency in operating forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus Comfortable driving manual transmission vehicles if required Previous experience as a courier is advantageous This Non CDL Driving Position offers an opportunity to join a dynamic team committed to delivering quality service.
