Job Description
Overview Join our team as a Local CDL Class A Truck Driver delivering freight efficiently and safely across local routes and routes in neighboring states. Schedule is Monday-Friday with occasional Saturday work. Home Daily! Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmissions across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Unload freight using electric pallet jack Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify mechanical issues or safety concerns before and after each shift Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records in compliance with DOT regulations Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly Skills Proven experience driving commercial vehicles such as tractor-trailers with manual transmissions in a safe manor Ability to navigate routes efficiently using GPS or route planning tools while maintaining safety standards Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and compliance with DOT regulations Join us to be part of a dedicated team that values safety, efficiency, and customer service.
