Duties Safely operate a 26-foot box truck to deliver appliances to residential locations, following all traffic laws and safety protocols Load and unload appliances using proper techniques, ladders, hand tools, and power tools to ensure secure transport Assist customers with appliance setup, installation, and troubleshooting on-site, providing excellent service and support Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to keep the delivery truck in optimal condition Use schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot equipment issues during delivery or installation Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and address any concerns or delays Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and reports related to service activities and equipment repairs Experience . Valid driver's license required No CDL required Experience driving a box truck preferred Appliance delivery, furniture delivery, moving, or installation experience preferred Comfortable using hand tools and basic equipment Ability to lift and move heavy appliances with assistance Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse Must be dependable and arrive on time Must pass a background check Must pass a drug test Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in appliance repair, installation, and troubleshooting Ability to read schematics, electrical diagrams, plumbing layouts, and use hand tools or power tools effectively Experience working with refrigeration systems, electrical work, plumbing connections, and equipment repair Skilled in ladder use for reaching high or difficult areas safely during installations or repairs Customer service-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills to ensure positive interactions Familiarity with maintenance, repair & operations (MRO), field service procedures, and service technician practices Valid company vehicle operation experience; safe driving record; ability to navigate routes efficiently using GPS or maps This role offers an exciting chance to develop your skills in appliance installation and repair while delivering top-tier customer experiences.
