Driver Entry Level 2 Hunt Consolidated United States, Alabama, Melvin Jul 07, 2026 ESSENTIAL
To transport crude oil from various lease sites to company injection points in a safe and efficient manner. To gauge and test crude oil for both quantity and quality, to record and log information accurately, and to work with minimum supervision.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Accurately gauge crude oil tanks for quantity. Accurately test crude oil for quality (BS & W) Transport crude oil from well leases to company injection points safely and efficiently. Accurately record information onto run/receipt tickets. Maintain correct driver's log book. Perform routine maintenance on equipment and facilities (pumps, pump shafts, packing, etc.). Responsible for the upkeep and security of equipment and facilities. Take the initiative to improve on working procedures and conditions. Must be willing to cross-train in all other departments. Maintain safe working habits. Utilize and maintain all available safety equipment. Responsible for compliance with all applicable rules and regulations, including but not limited to safe driving practices, good log keeping, maintaining hours available for duty, and compliance with company alcohol and substance abuse policies. Be prepared to actively participate in emergency response activities. Communicate effectively with the general public, governmental representatives, and producer representatives. Responsible for working shift work, including holidays and weekends. EDUCATION and/orEXPERIENCE
Minimum of a high school diploma or GED. Math aptitude and good communication skills. One or more years of commercial driving experience, preferably, crude oil tanker driving experience.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Valid CDL license with tanker and HAZMAT endorsements, 24-hour Hazwoper training.To transport crude oil from various lease sites to company injection points in a safe and efficient manner.
