Job Description
Swing Driver at Martin Environmental you'll be responsible for the collection and hauling of waste debris or recycling materials to a disposal site or recycling plant from large, high volume construction customers, as well as from residential, industrial, and commercial customers. Work days typically Monday - Saturday. 40 plus hour week! Home every night! Job Description Performs safety checks, pre- and post-trip inspection of vehicle including, but not limited to, checking tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges and controls. Provides roll off delivery and removal services to customers on routes by work order or as assigned by dispatcher and/or supervisor. Operates hydraulic controls to dispose of collected material at the designated facility; Operate hydraulic lifting devices to empty truck; attach hooks to receptacles Ensures customers are serviced in a professional and timely manner. Courteously interacts with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers. Communicate with dispatcher(s) concerning service issues, delays, unsafe routes, safety hazards, accidents, equipment breakdowns, and/or property damage. Transport loads to disposal site Cleans up under stationary compactors. Performs driver check-in procedures upon returning to the facility at the end of the day Completes required route/productivity sheets, and other forms. Willingness to adhere to company safety policies and procedures. Performs other job-related duties as assigned Basic Qualifications Ability to work in all weather conditions and perform physical requirements including repetitive lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing. Ability to work overtime, weekends, and/or holidays. Currently hold a Class A Commercial Drivers License Valid DOT Medical Card At lease 2 years Commercial truck driving experience.
