Job Description

Job Overview We are looking for a dependable, safety-focused, and motivated CDL Class A Truck Driver to become an essential part of our growing transportation team. In this role, you will safely operate commercial tractor-trailers to transport freight efficiently across assigned routes while ensuring on-time deliveries and exceptional customer service. Drivers will have the opportunity to operate a variety of commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks. Key Responsibilities Safely operate CDL Class A commercial vehicles while complying with all federal, state, and local traffic laws and safety regulations. Transport a wide variety of freight, including refrigerated cargo, flatbed loads, tanker shipments, and other specialized materials while ensuring cargo remains secure throughout transit. Load and unload freight as needed using proper procedures and equipment, including forklifts when applicable. Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify and report mechanical issues, maintenance needs, or safety concerns. Plan and manage routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules while minimizing delays. Maintain accurate driver logs and transportation records, including mileage, fuel usage, inspection reports, and delivery documentation. Communicate professionally with dispatch regarding delivery status, route updates, traffic conditions, delays, or any issues encountered during transport. Maintain a clean, organized vehicle and uphold company standards for safety and professionalism. Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record. Proven experience operating commercial trucks safely and efficiently. Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles. Previous experience driving one or more of the following is highly preferred: Tractor-trailers Refrigerated trailers Flatbeds Tankers Dump trucks Roll-off trucks Experience with route driving and freight delivery, including loading and unloading cargo. Familiarity with forklifts or other freight-handling equipment is a plus. Knowledge of safe transportation practices for hazardous or sensitive materials is preferred. Strong understanding of Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, commercial driving laws, and industry safety standards. Why Join Our Team?
