Drivers will be responsible for transporting a GPS tracking device along a designated route from Conway to Ozark and back to Conway OR Conway to Brinkley and back to Conway. This position supports a research pilot study: "Implementation of Relay Trucking Software and Infrastructure to Benefit Rural Workforce" (USDA SBIR Award #2022-39410-38340), conducted by FR8relay (Connect Dynamics, Inc.). This is a paid, short-term research study. Before taking part, you will be required to review and sign an informed consent form. Taking part is your choice , and you may stop at any time. Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions, route assignments, and testing procedures. Basic proficiency using smartphones, mobile applications, and GPS navigation tools. Experience Requirements 25+ years of age. 6 years of driving experience. Valid driver's license required. Reliable personal vehicle with current registration and auto insurance required. Strong driving record and commitment to safe vehicle operation. Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential. Ability to work split shifts and meet project scheduling requirements. Previous driving, courier, delivery, field service, transportation, or route-based experience preferred. Experience using mobile applications, Google Maps, or GPS navigation systems. Proven ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions. Customer service or field data collection experience is a plus. Preferred Qualifications Strong attention to detail and observation skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated. Ability to identify, document, and report technical or operational issues accurately. Comfortable working independently while meeting project requirements and deadlines. Strong organizational skills and ability to follow assigned routes and procedures precisely. Physical Capabilities Ability to sit and drive for extended periods throughout assigned routes. Ability to enter and exit a vehicle multiple times during the workday. Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle over extended distances. Ability to use a smartphone, GPS technology, and mobile applications while following testing procedures. Ability to remain focused and attentive during long driving assignments. Job Duties Drive assigned routes between designated locations while following all project instructions and safety requirements. Transport GPS-enabled equipment and project materials along assigned routes. Receive, transfer, and document equipment exchanges at designated checkpoints. Utilize mobile applications to complete route assignments and testing activities. Monitor application functionality and report technical issues, irregularities, or performance concerns. Accurately follow assigned routes, checkpoints, schedules, and operational procedures. Communicate with project coordinators, route personnel, and other team members as needed. Complete surveys and provide feedback regarding application usability and testing procedures. Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the project.
