Primo Brands seeks a reliable Yard Jockey Class A CDL driver to manage daily trailer movements at our Des Moines facility. You'll spot, move, and stage dry van and reefer trailers, ensuring docks stay efficiently loaded to support our fast-paced agency operations. Responsibilities include safe maneuvering in tight yard spaces, performing pre- and post-trip inspections, coordinating with operations via radio, and maintaining accurate move logs. You'll thrive in a collaborative, people-first culture that values accountability, flexibility, and continuous improvement while keeping safety as your top priority. Responsibilities Safely spot, move, and stage trailers around the yard and at docks Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on tractor and trailers Coordinate trailer moves with operations and dock teams via radio or yard management tools Maintain accurate records of trailer locations and moves Monitor equipment condition and report maintenance needs promptly Follow all DOT, company, and site-specific safety procedures Support efficient dock loading/unloading by timely trailer placement Operate in varying weather and light conditions while maintaining safety standards Required Skills Class A CDL driving Trailer spotting Backing and maneuvering in tight spaces Hooking and unhooking trailers Pre/post trip inspections Basic equipment troubleshooting Time management Safety compliance Radio/yard management systems Basic documentation/logging
