Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Commercial Driver/Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies, and have a proficiency in operating a variety of heavy equipment on construction sites (locations of constructions sites will vary throughout the state of Arizona, generally being in the Northern part). This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage various types of vehicles and equipment, including roll-off trucks, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, dozers, backhoes, water trucks and more.

In person Responsibilities Operate commercial vehicles including roll-off trucks, flatbeds, and tankers for the delivery of freight. Operate and maintain equipment such as dozers, backhoes, water trucks, dump trucks, and other heavy machinery. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment. Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring proper handling and securing of materials. Transport materials and equipment to and from job sites. Plan and follow efficient routes for timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate records, vehicle maintenance, and any incidents that occur during transport. Communicate effectively with other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road. Utilize manual transmission when necessary, demonstrating proficiency in operating various types of commercial vehicles. Experience Proven experience in operating equipment and commercial driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL). Proficiency in operating water trucks, backhoes, and other relevant machinery. Familiarity with load unloading procedures and freight handling. Experience driving various vehicle types including roll-off trucks, flatbeds, tankers, or similar. Knowledge of route driving techniques and navigation systems. Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is preferred. Strong understanding of safety protocols related to commercial driving and equipment operation. Mechanical knowledge for basic equipment maintenance. Familiarity with construction site operations and safety regulations.
