Job Description
Job Overview Join our team as a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating our trucks in order to pick up and deliver donations for our thrift store. Duties Safely operate a variety of trucks and vans across designated routes. Load and unload cargo efficiently using appropriate equipment like forklifts when necessary Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations Manage route driving responsibilities, adhering to schedules and traffic laws to deliver goods promptly Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs for all deliverys and pick ups and vehicle inspections Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, route changes, or any issues encountered during transit Must have good customer service when working with donators and customers. Qualifications Valid driver's license. Knowledge of safety procedures related to freight handling and vehicle operation Ability to load & unload cargo efficiently and safely using forklifts or other equipment when required Strong understanding of traffic laws, route planning, and delivery schedules must be able to life up to 50ibs must pass a drug test
