This is a unique opportunity for someone who want to expand there abilities , taking on th leadership roll and over see all aspects of our local logistics operations. Duties Position will require individual to,Safely operate commercial trucks with automatic transmissions across local delivery routes. They will be responsible for maintaining all aspect of maintenace of our fleet of 4 tractors and 6 box trucks. 5 x53' dry van trailers. Load and unload freight using manual handling techniques while ensuring proper securing of loads. Position requeris full understanding of our digitail sytem for logistics systems to meet delivery schedules while optimizing routes for fuel efficiency and time management Deliver freight to customers' locations, ensuring accurate documentation and proper handling of logistics cargo. Comply with
DOT/FMCSA
regulations assuring all equipment is properly maintained to be on the road 24/7, maintain,assure all regulatory standards related to truck driving, following all safety protocols. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on trucks and trailers to identify maintenance needs or safety issues before departure or after completion of routes.

This position will be responsible to assure all drivers are following protocal using our digital system. Maintain detailed records of deliveries, load & unload activities, mileage logs, and incident reports in accordance with company policies.

Also assure trucks are being kept clean at all times. Experience Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including route driving within local areas. Familiarity with GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning. As well the use of Motive and must have basic computer skills. Knowledge of FMCSA and DOT regulations regarding hours of service, vehicle maintenance, and proper loading of products knowing proper weight distribution . Previous roles of, teaching and coaching other drivers' ,importance of following and adhering to safety standards. As well practiced minor truck maintenace in prior positions .
Pay:
$28.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 40.0 per week
