Job Description

Job Overview We are hiring CDL Driver to join our growing trash & refuse team. This is a local driving position, you are home every day. Duties Operate trash refuse truck safely & efficiently. Complete assigned local routes. Perform pre and post trip inspections of your assigned truck. Maintain a clean driving record & follow safety procedures. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, and vehicle maintenance in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate pickups resolving any issues promptly Provide reliable service to residential and commercial customers. Assist thrower with operations on the back of the truck. Skills Proven experience in truck driving with a valid CDL A or B license and a clean driving record Ability to operate hydraulic equipment Depenable, puntual and safety- focused. Excellent route planning skills with the ability to adapt to changing schedules or traffic conditions Good communication skills for coordinating with dispatchers, customers, and team members Physical stamina to handle loading/unloading tasks and long hours on the routes Prior refuse or commercial driving experience preferred (but not required). We offer competative pay and steady year round work. Local routes so you are home daily.
Pay:
$180.00 - $220.00 per day
