This position requires more than just driving—you will be responsible for properly loading, securing, transporting, and unloading equipment from trailers. Responsibilities Safely transport construction and rental equipment to and from customer job sites Load and unload equipment on and off trailers Properly secure equipment for transportation Inspect trailers, trucks, tie-downs, chains, straps, and equipment before transport Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections Safely maneuver trailers in tight job-site conditions Deliver and pick up equipment professionally and on schedule Communicate with customers and the K5 Rental team regarding deliveries and pickups Maintain a clean and safe truck and trailer Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures Assist with general yard and equipment duties when needed Qualifications Valid CDL Class A license Previous experience hauling and transporting equipment is required Experience loading and unloading construction equipment Experience properly securing equipment for transport Good driving and safety record Clean and professional appearance Reliable, punctual, and dependable Able to safely perform physical work associated with loading and securing equipment Knowledge of construction equipment is a strong plus Must be willing to work as part of a team and provide excellent customer service What We're Looking For We need someone who already knows how to haul equipment safely and understands the responsibility that comes with transporting expensive machinery. The right candidate will be dependable, safety-focused, and take pride in doing the job correctly every time. Pay:
$30.00 - $35.00 per hour
