Job Description
Aerotek is hiring a box truck driver with WEEKLY pay! $18-$20/hr | DAY Shift Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and reliable box truck driver. This role is perfect for individuals who have previous shop or labor experience and are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will also need to be comfortable working within the warehouse pulling packages, loading & unloading the van. Responsibilities Build and assemble sheet metal into ductwork. Load and unload trucks for site deliveries. Measure distances accurately with a tape measure. Utilize hand and power tools effectively. Maintain personal and company tools and equipment. Apply mastic on ductwork. Perform other related tasks as required. Essential Skills Previous shop or labor experience. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Reliable and able to drive to the shop in Sewickley daily. Proficient in using a tape measure. Hands-on ability to use snips and other hand tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications Any HVAC or sheet metal construction experience is preferred. Any relevant certifications are preferred. Takes direction well and proactively seeks tasks. Work Environment The work environment is a busy and noisy shop in Sewickley, operating Monday through Friday, from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with optional Saturdays. Employees must report for roll call at 6:15 AM. Teamwork is essential, as the crew typically consists of 4-6 people. Contractors should wear their own work boots and appropriate clothing, with all other PPE provided. The role offers year-round work in the construction field, with overtime available for those interested. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sewickley, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
