4/10 Work Week + On-Call Weekend Rotation We are a family-owned and operated sanitation and utility services company seeking a qualified, reliable Class A CDL Driver with Tanker Endorsement to join our team. Our company provides professional residential and commercial services, including: Septic system installations, repairs, and maintenance Septic pumping and emergency septic services Grease trap and grease interceptor pumping Sewer line repairs Water main repairs Equipment hauling and transportation Lowbed hauling of heavy construction and sanitation equipment Position Summary This is a hands-on Class A CDL position that combines septic and grease pumping with lowbed equipment hauling. The successful candidate will safely operate vacuum trucks, lowbed trailers, and other company vehicles and equipment while assisting with field operations. The position involves both driving and physical labor . Duties may include pumping septic tanks and grease traps, connecting and handling large-diameter hoses, digging to access septic tanks, loading and securing heavy equipment, transporting equipment to and from job sites, and assisting the field crew as needed. You will work outdoors in all weather conditions and must be available for overtime, emergency service calls, and an on-call weekend rotation when required. Key ResponsibilitiesSeptic & Grease Pumping Safely operate and maintain vacuum trucks used for septic and grease pumping Operate trucks with 3" hoses and safely connect, position, and handle hoses Pump septic tanks, holding tanks, grease traps, and grease interceptors Inspect trucks and trailers before each shift and route Perform manual labor, including digging to expose septic tank lids Manually lift septic tank lids weighing up to 100 lbs Clean tank components and work areas after pumping Backfill excavated areas upon completion of work Properly dispose of septic and grease waste at designated facilities Complete required job documentation, disposal records, and daily logs Communicate professionally with customers, dispatchers, and team members Lowbed Equipment Hauling Safely operate Class A trucks and lowbed trailers to transport heavy equipment Load, unload, position, and secure construction and sanitation equipment Properly inspect chains, binders, straps, ramps, trailers, and other securement equipment Verify equipment is properly loaded and secured before transport Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections in accordance with DOT requirements Transport equipment safely between company locations, job sites, and customer properties Assist with equipment placement and job-site setup when required Follow all applicable DOT, safety, weight, and load-securement requirements Maintain accurate mileage, trip, inspection, and other required records Keep trucks, trailers, and equipment clean and properly maintained General Responsibilities Follow assigned routes, schedules, and job instructions Safely operate company vehicles and equipment Maintain a clean and professional appearance Follow all company safety policies and procedures Respond to emergency and after-hours service calls as needed Work cooperatively with field crews and management Provide professional and courteous customer service Report mechanical, safety, or equipment issues promptly Requirements Valid Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement Clean driving record — current H6 driving record required Previous experience operating vacuum trucks, septic/grease trucks, lowbeds, or heavy equipment is preferred Experience with heavy equipment hauling and load securement is a plus Pre-employment drug test required Must be physically capable of performing demanding manual labor Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Ability to safely lift, carry, and maneuver heavy hoses, equipment, and materials Ability to work overtime and participate in an on-call weekend rotation Excellent communication and customer service skills Dependable, punctual, and safety-minded Strong attention to detail Must be comfortable working in residential, commercial, and construction environments Must report to the company shop in Agua Dulce, CA Benefits Competitive pay 4-day work week with 10-hour shifts Overtime opportunities On-call opportunities Stable, year-round employment Work with a supportive, close-knit team Opportunity to learn and work across multiple areas of the sanitation and construction industry How to Apply Please email your resume, three professional references, and current H6 driving record to be considered for this position.
