Box Truck Driver

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Box Truck Driver and take charge of delivering freight efficiently and safely across designated routes. This energetic role offers the opportunity to operate various size box trucks with no CDL required. As a key player in our logistics network, you'll ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Your expertise in commercial driving and route management will drive our success forward, providing essential services to our customers with enthusiasm and professionalism. Duties Safely operate box trucks across assigned routes. Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks when necessary, ensuring cargo integrity and safety. Be able to be an OTR driver with a minimum of 6 days on the road at a time. Manage route driving efficiently by planning optimal paths to meet delivery schedules while complying with traffic laws. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle condition, report any issues promptly, and ensure compliance with transportation regulations. Assist in securing freight properly for transport to prevent damage during transit. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to confirm delivery times and resolve any logistical issues swiftly. Experience Proven experience as a delivery driver or truck driver with a focus on freight transportation. Familiarity with driving box trucks. Knowledge of load & unload procedures, including the use of pallet jacks or other handling equipment when required. Strong understanding of route planning and navigation to optimize delivery efficiency. Valid driver's license.
