Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently transport decedent to their destination using a company-provided vehicle.
• Process case according to individual mortuary procedures.
• Report to case location in a timely manner.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
• Communicate effectively with facility staff and families of the deceased to ensure a positive and comfortable experience.
• Handle sensitive information responsibly and maintain accurate records.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in proper working order
• Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle's interior and exterior.

Skills:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Experienced drivers preferred
• Ability to drive safely and confidently in various weather conditions and traffic situations
• Strong communication skills to interact with mortuary staff and families of the deceased in a professional and friendly manner
• Ability to lift heavy weight.
