Duties Safely operate tow trucks, including flatbed and traditional models, to recover and transport vehicles with precision and care Secure cargo using proper cargo securement protocols to prevent damage during transit Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to assess mechanical issues using automotive diagnostic tools. Load and unload vehicles safely onto tow trucks while adhering to safety standards and mechanical best practices Assist customers professionally by providing clear communication, resolving conflicts effectively, and delivering top-tier customer service while being able to explain services clearly. Follow all safety procedures related to driving, cargo securement, and vehicle loading onto tow trucks to maintain a safe work environment Maintain accurate logs of all towing activities, including vehicle details, locations, and times. Skills Knowledge with automotive diagnostics, automotive repair, and basic vehicle troubleshooting skills Familiarity with cargo securement protocols and safe vehicle loading techniques on tow trucks Excellent conflict management skills to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently in various conditions Knowledge of vehicle recovery towing techniques for accident scenes or stranded vehicles Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and resolve issues efficiently Ability to work outdoors in various weather and traffic conditions Dependable attendance and availability Positive attitude and strong work ethic Strong attention to detail and vehicle safety Having expertise will help keep our roads safe while providing vital support to drivers in need.
