Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated Class A Truck Driver for nut harvest. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating commercial tractor-trailers across Butte, Tehama and Glenn County. You will primary be picking up trailers full of nuts and bringing them to our hullers. Seasonal position Duties Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on OTR routes, adhering strictly to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Load, secure, transport, and unload almonds and walnuts. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues. Maintain accurate delivery documentation. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams to coordinate route adjustments or address delivery issues promptly. Requirements Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record. Proven experience in commercial truck driving Ability to operate manual transmission trucks confidently and handle manual handling tasks during loading/unloading processes. Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT rules Strong commitment to safety protocols and adherence to all federal and state trucking regulations.
