Full Job Description About Us :

Excel Transportation is a Transportation Company for Intellectually Disabled Adults. We are dedicated to safety and on time transportation. We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team and help us deliver exceptional service to our clients and stakeholders.

Job Overview :

The Driver will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods or passengers to various locations. This role requires a commitment to safety, adherence to traffic regulations, and excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

 Operate company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring timely transportation.  Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.  Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.  Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.  Assist with loading and unloading.  Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients and passengers.  Complete necessary documentation, including delivery logs and inspection reports.  Report any vehicle issues or accidents to management immediately.  Pass regular safety and compliance audits as required.

Qualifications:

 Must be 25 years of age or older.  Valid driver's license and a clean driving record (no major violations or accidents).  Ability to pass FBI and DOJ background checks.  Certified in CPR and First Aid.  High school diploma or equivalent preferred.  Previous driving experience is a plus.  Strong communication and interpersonal skills.  Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting and moving items if required.

Physical Requirements:

 Ability to sit for extended periods while driving.  Ability to perform tasks that involve bending, reaching, and standing.

Working Conditions:

 Primarily driving in various weather conditions.  May involve irregular hours, including evenings, depending on the schedule.  Potential for extended periods of time away from home, if applicable.
