Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and responsible Shuttle Driver to join our team. In this vital role, you will operate various types of trucks to transport personnel, materials, and equipment safely across designated routes. Your enthusiasm and commitment to safety will help ensure smooth daily operations and excellent service delivery. Duties Safely operate shuttle vehicles, including trucks with manual transmissions, to transport staff and materials between locations. Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks when necessary. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are met. Follow designated routes efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. Assist with securing loads on flatbed, refrigerated trailer, tanker, or dump trucks as required. Maintain accurate logs of trips, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate schedules and address any issues promptly. Experience Proven experience driving commercial vehicles such as tractor-trailers, flatbeds, or refrigerated trailers. Familiarity with manual transmission trucks and route driving procedures. Prior delivery driver experience preferred, especially involving freight load & unload operations. Knowledge of safety protocols related to truck driving, including handling freight like tanker loads or roll-off containers. Ability to operate forklifts or similar equipment is a plus. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with relevant endorsements required; clean driving record essential.
